New data protection regulations from May 25th 2018

The regulations have been brought in to safeguard personal data and to give individuals control over how there personal data is used or shared.

PRIVACY and DATA PROTECTION POLICY

  • All client records will be kept for 7years from the date of the last contact

  • In the case of minors under the age of 18yrs, records will be kept for 7 years following their 18th birthday.

  • For all clients I will hold all or some of the following information : address, d.o.b, contact telephone number and email address.

  • During the course of Homeopathic treatment additional confidential information will be gathered and this is solely for the purpose of treatment outcomes.

  • All hard copy records are kept in a locked cabinet and all digital records are password protected.

  • Virus and malware protection software is installed on computers.

  • Contact telephone numbers are kept on a designated mobile work phone and numbers are only identifiable by christian name or initials

  • No personal data or information is shared with a third part without your permission. The only exception would be if there was a risk to yourself or others.

  • If,after completion of treatment you do not want to be contacted again then please ask to be removed from the database.

  • If, at any point you no longer want to be contacted by me then please let me know and I will remove you from the data base. Otherwise , in signing the consent form below, you give your permission for me to contact you from time to time with information I wish to share.

  • I am registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioners Office.
